The VICTRESS Initia­ti­ve e.V. makes a con­tri­bu­ti­on to social chan­ge with various pro­jects. In order to replace out­da­ted role cli­chés more quick­ly, the focus is on suc­cess­ful fema­le entre­pre­neurs as role models. Sin­ce 2005, the initia­ti­ve has pre­sen­ted the VICTRESS Award in various cate­go­ries. It hono­urs out­stan­ding women who make an important con­tri­bu­ti­on to socie­ty through their ener­gy and com­mit­ment. The 14th VICTRESS Award Gala took place in Ber­lin on April 8th.

This year our foun­der Patri­cia Eschenlohr was nomi­na­ted for the VICTRESS Sus­taina­bi­li­ty Award. The cate­go­ry honors women who crea­te more sus­taina­bi­li­ty with inno­va­ti­ve busi­ness ideas.

Ame­lie Sper­ber, Mana­ging Direc­tor of Super­na­tu­ral GmbH, was also nomi­na­ted in this cate­go­ry. The com­pa­ny pro­du­ces a sus­tainab­le machi­ne which can be used to pre­pa­re a natu­ral nut cream from nuts without any additives.

The third nomi­na­ted entre­pre­neur in the cate­go­ry is Dr. Inez Lin­ke, co-foun­der of ocean­BA­SIS GmbH. This is the first Ger­man algae farm. Sus­tainab­le cos­me­tic pro­ducts, medi­cal pro­ducts and food are pro­du­ced from the sea’S acti­ve ingre­dients while set­ting pro­tec­tion of the sea is a priority.

Three out­stan­ding women with inno­va­ti­ve and sus­tainab­le busi­ness ide­as were nomi­na­ted in 2019. We are the­re­fo­re very plea­sed that our foun­der Patri­cia Eschenlohr won the award. The award was pre­sen­ted to her at the gala on 08.04.2019.

In addi­ti­on to the nomi­nees, nume­rous guests from busi­ness, poli­tics and cul­tu­re took part in the gala. A beau­ti­ful evening with strong women in focus!
