For the production of the Landbox® only pure and cleaned straw of food quality is used. The highest quality criteria are already applied during harvest and storage. During processing the straw is additionally dedusted, cleaned and disinfected and the international standards for the production of packaging with high hygienic requirements (DIN EN 15593, GMP Regulation (EC) No. 2023/2006, (EC) No. 1935/2004) are observed.
