More and more dyes, industrial paints, inks and lubricants are water-based and no longer solvent-based. This is more environmentally friendly, but leads to new challenges in shipping. Especially in the cold season, products with long shipping routes must be well protected from the cold in order to avoid frost. Some products also require highly shock-absorbent shipping packaging.

Numerous industry leaders already use our sustainable and shock-absorbing thermal packaging made from straw or hemp to ship their dyes, paints, inks or lubricants to countries all over the world during the winter months. The packages are usually in transit for several days. We adapt the required insulation thickness to the needs of our customers.

Best insulating performance

Straw and hemp have an outstandingly low thermal conductivity value of 0.041 W/(mK), very similar to that of polystyrene.
