In 2000, the district of Fürs­ten­feld­bruck set its­elf the goal of com­ple­te­ly swit­ching to rene­wa­ble ener­gies by 2030. This can be achie­ved by gra­du­al­ly redu­cing ener­gy con­sump­ti­on, using rene­wa­ble ener­gies and making sus­tainab­le use of all domestic resources.

The asso­cia­ti­on ZIEL 21 was foun­ded in 2001 and is a net­work of muni­ci­pal and eco­no­mi­c­al­ly acti­ve mem­bers who deal with topics rela­ted to the ener­gy sys­tem transformation.

Sin­ce the begin­ning of March 2018, Land­pack calls its­elf a part­ner of Ziel 21 and, tog­e­ther with other com­pa­nies in the district, sup­ports the goal of swit­ching to 100 % rene­wa­ble energies.
