Member of the Bundestag Karin Staffler visits Landpack

On Wednesday the 28.03.2019 the member of the Bundestag Katrin Staffler MdB visited our production site in Alling. As a customer of some online shops that ship packed in our straw, such as Frank Juice, the Lamplhof Hofmetzgerei, and Wallner’s Bioputen, she already had experience with our packaging. She used this opportunity to find out more about Landpack and our products.

Central topics in the program of the Bundestag delegates are a lasting environmental policy and more legislation against the pollution of the oceans. The objectives also include the appreciation and strengthening of agriculture. Often it becomes a challenge to find common ground on these goals. Landpack, as a manufacturer of sustainable insulating packaging made from an agricultural waste product, is an example of an application that shows how the problem can be tackled in an economically sensible way.

In conversation with our founders Patricia Eschenlohr and Thomas Maier-Eschenlohr, an active exchange took place and it became clear that local agriculture can be strengthened and the environment protected at the same time.
